Anyone going to GW Yonge and Lawrence this Thursday that wants a game?

Hello to all

I live in Burlington, (yes that city with the worst traffic lights in the GTA), and I'm wondering if there's anyone out here in my neck of the woods?

Sadly I don't drive due to medical reasons so it's hard for me to get around. Getting a little tired of the same-old-same-old at the local store (too many wee ones about) and I'm looking for some new more mature opponents to bear witness to my unbelievibly amazing dice rolls!

My buddy and I are up for gaming on Sunday, The Venue is still up in the air. Its either HSG or Legends.

It really depends on whos going to be at legends. I know that there is aways some one to play at Heavy Support. On the other hand I kinda want to check out Legends ( I have no interest in playing my buddy again lol).

If any one is interested in a game that day. Let me know if you have preference. As for me the drive is the same for both.

I'd like to nail down the details by Wed.

Hey styro, i'm free sunday, and both legends and HSG are the same distance for me as well. So whichever works for the group i'll be there, be good to finally get that rematch from that first game we played so many months ago.

EDIT: I won't be bringing metal boxes, I mean rhinos either. I've been playing mech for too long now, and I want to feel like a noob again without them .

how is legends? good? i like how close it is for me, and sundays work perfect for gaming, weekdays are awful for me

and also i may stop by with 1500-2000 pts of eldar, so im ready to lose lol. I prefer larger games tho (ie 2k)

What the food like in the area?!

I like the Barrito places near HSG

Legends sells snacks (pop, water, chips, bars, etc) for $1 each. Not far is a Subway, a pita place, a few Italian restaurants, an Italian Ice Cream place, etc.

Sounds like we will have all 4 tables going Sunday! Looking forward to it.

If anyone is interested in getting together for a game or two today I would be down.

Legends is a bit far for me, I live right downtown and I am kinda restricted to the subway line.

I've never been to the Yonge a Lawerence GW. The Troll is mostly Warmahordes and Magic, but I'm always up for a game, they do 40k on Tuesday and Thursdays but you can find a table open on most days. I've played More Dakka there and have been trying to convice CGB to meet there for a while....

Ah sounds like a good place, I have only been to the GW so far, its pretty decent, they have 5 tables and lotsa terrain, it can get busy in the evening but it is usually quiet during the day, and its one block north of the Lawrence subway. You up for a game today?

I used to play weekly at yonge and lawerence. you dont need to schedule games really. theres always a ton of people there, its very easy to find pickup games. The only problem I found was everyone plays fluff lists and very soft lists. So people stopped wanting to play me, as I tend to play harder more optimized lists

My list is somewhat fluffy, with exception of the long fangs at the moment so maybe thats a good thing.

I've only played there twice and we had to move majic cards off the table but it wasn't bad. They have 2 tables that can hold 2 games each, but it's your typical hobby shop (not as stinky as some though)
