he guy's,

I am starting to comeback to the painting side of the hobby after some injuries and mental blocks.
The recent action of GW have pulled me out of the hobby and now I am searching for a other game.
my eyes have fallen on Warmahordes but more on that later.

after a couple of months doing nothing today I picked up some metal leafs and started experimenting with them

of which this is the result.
I would love to hear your comments and I will post more pic's in the coming weeks

Could be tricky with smaller detail but nice idea look forward to see how this turns out, also if you are going down the warmachine route this could work well with the larger areas.

Hope you have recovered as well

The oily effect is in the material. its burned leaf gold.
at the moment I am painting a mini with small details i want to cover in this material.
it costs around 13 euro's for 10 leafs and it's from a German company so I guess it should be available in painting stores in Germany.

a nice addition to this material is that it tears easily so battle damage is very easy to add.
