not seen a lot of love for these guys, they were incredibly awkward to paint though, but here are my Reb Zee's codename's Bitz and Bobz:

Like those Zees. If they're anything like the DB ones, they are teeny-tiny for painting
I've only used a single Zee thus far (using a DB Zee).
Their scavenging ability is cool but they are complete pants at any type of combat.

Hadn't thought of using cat litter as basing. Hmmmmm.

yes the cat litter was an idea from and old white dwarf publication when Necromunda was still in its early days.

They are the same size as the DB zee's perhaps a little larger due to the armour etc... I personally think the Zee's might be key personel in the Reb force, people emphasise too much on combat ability but the Rebs victory points are mainly gained through scavenging or escaping a hotzone etc... and if you think about it, the figures are small enough to get a better chance of cover making them harder to hit while other, more scary looking Rebs draw fire

Plus if they're tiny, there's not much model to paint

Finally finished my first/trial s3 and a test cube of Battlezones scenery.

I got some blood in his eyes while I was experimenting with the airbrush for blood spatter, I'll have to fix them. Any suggestions as to which color to go with when I do? I could almost leave it...

I'm fairly happy with the cube, I may look into adding additional types of weathering like scorch marks, graffiti, and most likely some ad-boards and such. The rust is pretty basic but it's obvious at a distance.

Cool looking. Why 'fix' anything? Sometimes when you're a murderous 3A mutant, you get victim juice in your eyes.

I'd be ok with that, but what do I do for the rest of them that don't get convenient blood in their eyes?

nice stuff GrimDork, perhaps the standard bright white eyes would stand out against the green and look quite zombie like, or you could go orangy yellow for quite a demonic alien animal look? I like the test panel for the buildings too but its got me thinking now... Im sitting here feeling quite intimidated by the mountain of grey plastic scenery, I need a quick way of getting them painted but detailed at the same time, whats everybody's approach to this because I need some inspiration.

I'm not really into Deazone but the last time I ordered hobby stuff I added a Rebs Commander to my shopping cart.
Here's my painted version of it.

Also impressed with the face.

Mantic's models are so much smaller than the heroic scale that getting the faces done nicely (you've done a super job here) is a real challenge for me.

Some damn good stuff there and with that paint job the ripper suit actually looks fairly decent and not over the top or ridiculous .

Thanks you guys. I've started on the warlord. There's a lot of detail there, so it may take a bit longer. Also, tomorrow is my Deadzone campaign night, so I won't get home until late, so probably not much painting tomorrow night.

Wow, those Marauders are phenomenal. I really don't have the patience with Restic to do much more than base and wash. I doff my cap to you, sir.

My first marauder just finished up. Whodathunk the Marauders were such fans of our 16th president.

Some sweet marauders have cropped up, nice work both of you.

I finally finished my first plague strike team, boosh:

Since I got my enforcers done too (was just missing the sniper), bonus:

The full team is here. The Captain America with the helm is actually the open faced Enforcer Captain with a bit of Green Stuff. Shield is from a Chaos Marauder covered in GS. The others have been shown before.

Hmm, not sure why the picture is so tiny. I'll try to fix that.

Next up, in homage to the awesomeness that was Captain America II, a certain brown haired Captain America replacement during CW will be joining the ranks shortly. He's built, and partially painted. Should have him done by 6, I'd imagine.

Will you be painting him as the cap or his other persona?

Painting him as his Cap persona. He's done, actually, just drying now. And he needs to be based, which'll take a hot minute. And I think he looks fantastic.

Bucky is done. I realize when he's in his Captain America gear, he has his bionic arm covered by the uniform. However, I like the idea of him showing his bionic arm, so I went with it. Hope you guys like him.

Beginning paint work on my Frank Castle version of Captain America. Sculpted his cowl and skull from GS, and he's wearing his shield on his back. I'm hoping to have him posted by the end of the night. He's outside priming now, and probably ready. After this, I need one more shotgun and I'll make US Agent as the final member of the squad. So, somebody please send me one Space Marine scout shotgun!! An unborn plastic life is at stake hear!!
