It’s one I’ve been aware of for a long, long time. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen it.

Will have that sorted probably Tuesday night, as I’m off to see Weapons tomorrow.

Isn't that going to be getting a rerelease in the theaters, limited of course, sometime this year?

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

That would be amazing.

I have a soft spot for movies that feature some Errol Flynn level swordplay where you least expect it.

Plus, the frozen sister being fought around must've been a tad nerve wracking for the actress.

King Kong (1976)

Aka Monkey Pervy Stare: The Movie. A stowaway monkeyologist and an adrift actress invite themselves on an oil company bigwig's quest for more money. Monkey business ensues.

It's still a decent adventure movie if you don't mind the 70s pacing, and fairly long for its time. There are a bunch of things that come across as goofy that probably weren't intended, but overall the movie's still fun.

King Kong Lives (1986)

Aka Monkey Pervy Stare 2: The Sequel. It's basically the Star Wars Holiday Special without musical numbers.

This one is very uneven. You might even say nonsensical. At least it's half an hour shorter than the other one.

Notably both movies feature nice models. If you're into that kind of thing, they're worth a look for the model makers' efforts.

Nehekhara lives! Sort of!
