Best horse in video games?
Is it Aggro from Shadow of the Colossus, one of the horses of the Apocalypse from Red Dead, the horse from MGS:5, or maybe even the horse from The Last of Us?

Gonna throw in with Agro here. Best horse is the one that throws you off to get ahead at its own expense.

Red Hare from Dynasty Warriors. Based on Lu Bu's mythological horse, which was said to have been able to run 1,000 leagues in a day (about 3500 miles). The horse was said to be exceptionally large, fast, and strong, and was considered peerless amongst horses much as its rider was considered peerless amongst warriors. This is summed up in the famous quote by Cao Cao "Among men, Lu Bu; among horses, Red Hare". The horse was said to be untamable/unridable by all except Lu Bu, and much later (following his death) Guan Yu (who is worshipped to this day as a god).

I remember being so proud after I'd spent all that money, blood, sweat, and tears on getting my Charger, and then having all the work rendered pointless a few weeks after when you just bought it from the paladin trainer for tuppence.

I helped some Paladins / Warlocks... I totally understand why I met several paladins / warlocks that just said "feth it" and bought the epic mount instead of completing that quest.
