I have a space marine drop pod that I got for cheap, but I have a problem, the poor thing is busted to hell and back. I want to use the parts in some way, and I don't mind getting my hands dirty breaking it down due to the poor assembly. I would do something orkish but I've yet to start an ork army, any suggestions are welcome though! Thanks in advanced!

Terrain?

An old drop pod from a battle long past, left to rust.

Something akin to this maybe?

You could sell it / give it to an Ork player.

Yup, terrain - either a rusted ancient pod, or a newly crashed one. In either case, it'd make a great game objective.

I think I'll take the kind suggestions of making a terrain piece out of it! I don't think that I've seen a wreaked drop pod on a board before, so I'll give it a shot. I just need to decide how it should be positioned, maybe on its' side in a shallow trench.

I would have it where it crashed into a building and siting on its side through one of the walls. Kinda like the scene in Spies Like Us where they got dropped in the cargo container that crashes into the house - if you seen the movie.....

I want to throw in some spooky, scary and very dead skeletons in this piece. So if any of you wonderful people know of some in 40k scale, that won't hurt my poor wallet too bad, feel free to tell me!

There are plenty of WHFB skeletons - talk to your local WHFB players, some are bound to have spares they'd sell cheaply.

Instead of just littering the ground with skeletons, how about shattered marine armour showing bones inside?
