My Nurgle Heldrake is probably my favorite

Spoiler:

Though he still needs a rider

I also love making orks, Heres a silly Cybork/ Powerklaw Warboss (He has a necron-ish body, made from a heroclix model)

Spoiler:

With all my models, i use square bases for decorative additions to models (like CSM combat familiars, i just move them when they get in the way)

So after KaptinBadrukks slightly tongue in cheek (I hope) thread got locked I just had to show this.

Its not my model but I never see its awesomeness discussed or reposted anywhere and I just want to share it. In my mind it is without a doubt the coolest conversion ever although strictly more of a scratch build.

The whole thread its from can be found on WIP which appears to be a rarely visited forum populated by some very skilled builders here's the thread. http://z11.invisionfree.com/Work_In_Progress/index.php?showtopic=16582&st=0

Its a slow build thats been going for 5 years, the artist hasn't updated in a year but that seems to be the norm on WIP.

Anyway there is only a few images of the whole thing but I beg you go have a closer look because the detail is insane

I've been thinking for a while about coming up with something to emulate the Forgeworld Falcon Type II with it's more streamlined tail section. The Fire Prism turret already has that feel, but the chassis just sort of stops. Here is my attempt:

Process:
Spoiler:

And here it is with some paint:

Now that I can squad Falcons, I really want them all to match. I haven't started on converting the Fire Prisms, as I wanted to see it on the Falcon and make sure I was happy with it. I think I like it enough to start on the rest of the force.
