My necron imperial knight kitbash i made. I wantened to to a kopesh or something instead of the chainsword but i can go either way with it. This is my first major kitbash and first large scale baseing and even though it doesn't look GD quality I feel proud of it. Comments, questions, and insightful critiques welcomed!

Nice work!
I especially like the pistons on the feet painted up like the old necron tube thingies (Don't know if that's a word). It gives an entirely new look to a "standard" part.
my only concern is the bare cork showing through in some places.
But overall AWESOME!

You nailed it on getting it to look like a necron knight, I wouldnt bat an eye playing against that army because it looks the part.

In the future, you may want to try thinning your paints a bit to avoid the blotchy look, you'll like the outcome more.

Awesome conversion. For some reason the rider reminds me of a DJ and he's riding his instrument of bass thumping destruction.

Has a very Mars Attacks feel, which is very cool.

Fantastic conversion!

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

Thank you all. I left some of the cork showing to add some contrast to the pavement being ripped up from his feet. Maybe i should go over it with some dirt to give it a better aim for what i was going for.

I'm still learning on how much to thin my paints. I use a wet pallet already and i've already noticed a huge leap in differences. I think the blocheness on the black is from the primer i remember i was in a bit of a rush priming it and i didn't shake the can as much as i should have.

@anticitizen Maybe i should put a little hanging disco ball above his head lol

Only one word can describe this, and that is AWESOME! I like the look and feel of the model, and I also enjoy to watch someone dive into the deep end with a kit like this. Well done

It's an amazing piece of work, great job!

The only thing I'd change is the chainsword, maybe giving him a big scythe...but still: very, very well done.

Holy that us one of the best conversion/kitbash I've ever seen! Ps, I don't think there are stop signs in warhammer40k, glue some of the new resin set, Space Marine Casualties, on. Did Trazyn mind control one of the poor imperial knight titans and send a lord to control him?

it was a lord who is mocking the minor imperial world with their own tech thinking it is cute these roaches dare claim ownership of the necron's property
