My iPhone 5s is saying that it has no service, and I've paid my monthly phone bill so I don't see why it's doing this where do I go to fix this? There's a Koodo booth in my mall but I don't know if they handle these kinds of situations or if I would be better off going to the cell phone repair place or is

that unnecessary? Is this problem that can easily be fixed by myself? I don't know much about technology.

Are you somewhere out of cell tower range?

Not all networks cover every place.

All the places I've been I've had cell phone coverage before (work, Home, general city area, etc).

It started yesterday and no it's not related to airplane mode.

Yeah, you'd want to talk to your carrier. Either something's messed up with your phone or maybe a mistake in billing somewhere that they turned it off.

Does it still connect to wifi?

Have you switched it off and on again? It's a cliche but it is the best place to start. Switch it off, leave for a few mins then switch back on.

It could be a broken antenna.
If you know where the cell masts are, try getting close to one. If it can't see anything, it's probably not an antenna fault.
If Wifi works, try getting a coverage tool, and see what it tells you about signal strength.

I get that on occasion but with my Galaxy S4. It usually, for me anyway, indicates a swollen battery due to overcharging, which occurs when utilising high-power apps like Youtube and games when charging.

Normally I just reboot by taking the battery out while the phone is still on and it fixes it but the iPhone5 doesn't allow that.

The Galaxy 4 phones had a battery recall. My S4 Active got it, and the screen's bent outwards. The battery live dropped through the floor, with random shut-downs.
They sent out a replacement, and told me to bin the old one responsibly.
Phone your country's Samsung support number, they know about the swelling battery issue.

Oh I know, I've replaced it twice already, 6 months and a few weeks ago respectively. Its not an issue for me really, I'm just suggesting things it could be. Thanks anyway though

I get this quite often, just attempt to remove your sim card and clean it off and put it back in, turning on and off will temporarily help it, but may start soon. Issue most likely is some dust got onto the sim card.
