Start with battlewagons, and fill them with anything except orks.

I like the idea of the Centurians in Battlewagons. Open topped so they can fire out of it. If the trukk explodes it's not going to hurt them. Attach a sanguinary priest in there for the FNP, and some psykers as the above listed for rerolls to hit and wound.

Also with everyone allies I would like to see a landraider full of genestealers.

Autarch: Jetbike, mantle of the laughing god, banshee mask, shard of anaris
14x farseers: jetbikes, singing spears

autarch gives the unit fearless, hit and run, shrouded, stealth and -5 initiative to any unit they charge
farseers do their psychic thing, 56 powers on sanctic, telepathy and runes of fate, 42 base warp charges, 45 total wounds. Also each guy has a str9 ranged weapon at bs5. Tough unit that can kill pretty much anything


It would be a nightmare keeping track of all those psychic powers though

I have not personally seen that change.

They could not before.

Farseers are definitely independent characters. You must be thinking of warlocks

Yes they can in 7ed. They also can't join MCs period.
