Be aware that this is a joke kickstarter, but given the success of similar jokes here before (Flying Butts anyone?) and since it is tenuously related to gaming, I think it gets to keep its thread

I wouldn't really compare the two things at all. While the subject matter was silly conceptually, the Flying Assault Butts kickstarter was not a joke and was presented as a serious project to produce an actual and clear product with realistic goals, which it delivered on (I've actually got the figures in a box somewhere). The Vorpal kickstarter on the other hand has a video from a soap opera and includes stretch goals like the guy getting back with his girlfriend.
