I couldn't find this in the FAQ or the wiki. I don't have the rb with me. Does cautious movement trigger any mines that the model happens to move past? I know enemy models don't get ARO if that model crosses their LoF but mines aren't technically models or have a LoF. I ask because we were playing lifeblood the other day & my opponent with her two mine laying zeroes happily laid down 6 mines in quite a pattern to make getting to the last two crates very difficult. Ended up costing me the game by a single crate.

You can't use Cautious Movement through the ZoC of any enemy model, so I think you can't trigger any mine with CM because you can't enter their ZoC.

Mines aren't models though, they're markers

All you need to remember is a mine can " detonating when an enemy miniature or Marker penetrates or is activated by Order or ARO inside its area of effect " . So yes it will, if one of templates could reach.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor. |

Noir has it.
Reading this, just thinking of some Morat tip-toeing next to a mine trying to be as quiet as possible so he won't set it off
