Out of all of the human-made wonders and artifacts, what would you consider to be the most powerful, among the larger relics, like the Golden Throne or an Ark Mechanicus, and among the smaller relics, like the Spear of Telesto or the Gauntlets of Ultramar. Thoughts?

Non-joke-wise, I'd have to say the Space ships. Hey, they're considered artifacts! They are also responsible for humanities traversal of the stars, and can destroy entire planets!

Either that or Titans.

There's also the Fortress of Arrogance, but at this point its just a Baneblade.

What about the Speranza? An Ark Mechanicus capable of building Imperator Titans or sniping a completely undetectable Eldar Cruiser in the middle of a Warp Storm. It's also the size of a small planet, with enough high-tech firepower to put the Necrons to shame.

I can't find a source, but wasn't there an Eldar device that was used to create (or at least greatly expand) Commoragh spontaneously from someone's mind?

I'd say a complete STC would be the most powerful thing ever.

Hands down, an intact (or near-intact) STC system (if one still exists). An artifact that can teach humanity to mass-produce thousands of other artifacts? That's more valuable than any titan or battleship. Just one of them could turn the tide of pretty much every war in the galaxy.

If there aren't any usable ones still scattered around, then I'd go for an STC fragment. The Panacea springs to mind. It's currently in the possession of the Dark Eldar, and (from what I know) could be used to manufacture medicine to cure most diseases and poisons.

Yeah I'd also say STC. I remember in one of the Gaunts Ghosts stories they were talking about some IG finding one and were massively rewarded even though it was just a design for a knife.

Yes. It could create anything by using the warp to generate the desired object. It made the Dark City, city and the inhabitants even.

As far as STC's go, isn't every Ark Mechanicus a working STC machine, just the Mechanicum doesn't realize it, yet? I could have sworn that was in the Priests of Mars.

No, it's implied that the Speranza has massive databanks of hidden knowledge, but it doesn't say that it's a working STC machine.

First time i've heard that The Golden Throne wasn't made by Humans.

The Emperor didn't know how to fix it though.

The fluff is portrayed like it's one minute till midnight for humanity, but really it's one a breath away from the right humans finding an STC and then soul-raping every chaos worshipper or xenos in the galaxy with the strength D range infinity assault 500 AP 1 sidearms that every guardsman will be issued.

Or they find a semi-complete one capable of mass producing Titans or battleships. Were they to find the STC behind the Phalanx, the universe would be the Imperium's oyster.
