The picture designs/styles are only prototypes and more will come soon. The base locks in very well, I have been casting these in resin for several years now and have had very high success rates. I'm very particular about my models and haven't had and of the lockings fail my models to date.

Our bases incorporate a locking fit, to allow your clear stand to be attached or detached for game play and Transportation.

Is "locking fit" accurate? Is it not just a friction fit? It seems a little risky not to glue the stand in place unless there really is some kind of "locking" mechanism.

Not really impressed at this point. I would recommend you get several other designs out before starting a kick starter. The painting seems lack luster as well which kinda turns me off too.

The terrain does nothing to conceal the clear flight stand, so it's not an improvement over the existing varieties.

The meaning is not to conceal. But allow the clear part to be removed for transportation and storage

I'm not sure where $1k is needed for this since there already seem to be kits in production, but that's a pretty reasonable price, I think.

More info would be nice, though, since the KS is a bit bare.

Well guys just to answer. We did the math and 1k is enough to produce new higher quality molds, materials and the taxes of kickstarter.

I've seen a lot of flying base-sized options out there, but yours is the first to have the crossbar area sculpted in. I hope things turn out well, since this is something I'd be potentially interested in.

I kinda like the design, although the detail on the gravel looks a little soft (as in not sharp). But that could perhaps be the painting lacking in quality.

Also, the prizes are a bit weird. Normally you offer a slight discount, increasing the more product someone pledge for, so as to encourage bigger pledges. As your scheme is now, the best price per base is actually the smallest pledge (!) which is rather backwards.

2 for 15$ = 7,5$ per base
3 for 25$ = 8,33$
6 for 50$ = 8,33$
13 for 100$ = 7,69$
16 for 125$ = 7,81$

Might back when the price schema is fixed. Are the bottoms of the bases totally flat or bevelled like the GW bases?

I also saw you mention on the KS page there are more varieties of bases - I think showing them would do a lot to drum up some interest and show the talent behind these.

Although I'm not a fan of the cross-style flying base from GW, I do like it that you are making bases the look good and fit that stand.
