Thanks everyone!
The weathering is very simple, I actually just followed
GW's videos, but my exact method is like so:
First thing I do is chipping with a sponge. I used Rhinox Hide to basically serve as splattered dirt and light scratches and what not, this part probably isn't 100% necessary as most of it becomes hidden by the mud and grime later on.
After that's done, I move on to using Ironbreaker for the parts of the paint/primer that have been chipped down to the bare metal of the tank. I apply it sporadically around the tank, mainly focusing on the edges where it would be scraped and scratched the most.
Once I'm done with Ironbreaker, I do the same thing with Runefang Steel, but with a slightly lighter passover, mostly to serve as a light highlight.
Now the chipping is finished, so I move on to doing all the grime, and this is just painfully simple. I use
GW's Typhus Corrosion in just about every nook and cranny I feel like putting it in. I gob it on in some areas, where as others I simply use a fine point ( but old ) brush to create streaks where the grime has trickled down. As they say in the
GW vid, you really have to be careful not to go overboard with this. I think I'm a little bit guilty of this myself, but I can't help it because it's so much fun.
Next up is the mud, which again I use
GW's Stirland Mud texture paint for. I mainly just cake this on all over the tracks and bottom edges of the tank, where it would most likely gather, and in the case of this tank also the dozer blade.
Once I have the mud applied I just go over it ( and to a lesser extent, the whole model ) with Terminatus Stone.
After that it's pretty much all done. Sometimes I'll go back and clean up some spots where I went a little overboard, or add some Agrax Earthshade to help define an area a little more and maybe make it feel a bit more grimey too.
The Lascannon and Vanquisher Battle Cannon burn marks are a simple case of just drybrushing Rhinox Hide on until it builds up enough to look dark, and then doing a 1:1 mix of Rhinox Hide and Chaos Black leaving a third of the initial application visible, and then doing the same with just Chaos Black on the last third to make it look much darker towards the opening of the barrel.

I flip flopped so much with what I wanted to build, until I finally decided that the Vanquisher would be a better choice to offer some strong anti-tank support for my army. I know I could just magnetize it, but I'm too lazy
lol. I think he will eventually become an actual Tank Commander for my
HQ once I can get another Leman Russ to accompany it. Currently, this is the only one I have.

For the shading did you just get into the crevices with a citadel wash as well?
Oh yeah forgot to mention that I did. I used Agrax Earthshade across every crevice and indentation on the model, watering it down as necessary in some places.
