I've been seeing these all over facebook

Seriously you can't compare those deaths. Its tragic that service members have died in Afghanistan, but that doesn't make the victims of the shootings any less relevant. The point isn't that a black guy was killed, its the fact that they were killed wrongfully by the very people that were supposed to PROTECT them. Oh and the fact that none of these officers were even indicted despite the hard evidence.

Seriously these memes disrespect the actual service members who died in the Middle East as your using their deaths to trivialize and extremely important matter.

You're looking for respectful, reasonable discourse in Facebook image memes. There's your problem.

Looking for it on the internet is also the problem sadly. Too many jerks.

If those guys had been afghan civilians, I bet Obama not knowing their names would not bother those that made this meme .
On a completely unrelated news, Obama does not know the name of most victim of car crashes.

Lots of hilarious hypocrisy and misinformation in these statements.

"Hard evidence."

"Supposed to protect them."

"Disrespect."

Funny stuff. I'm going to enjoy reading this.

Wait what cop shot Martin again?

I have a better meme for this thread:

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG
-"Don't mind Frazzled. He's just Dakka's crazy old dude locked in the attic. He's harmless. Mostly."

Indeed.

The "Hard evidence" actually supports that the people who shot these guys did nothing wrong. All blame is squarely on the person who was shot and killed.

Except Eric garner, I agree with the other cases that the police did nothing wrong, but the officer used an illegal headlock.

Actually, it wasn't the headlock. It was pressure on the chest and back from being prone and sat on by the officers. Thats why he could still sort of talk-think of him being squeezed by a big python. This is not an excuse. This is just a clarification.

It still bothers me that people point to Martin as some innocent kid who was ruthlessly murdered.

He was straddling a man, and pounding his head into a cement block.

If that is not a clear cut case of self-defense, then what the hell is?

That is a horrible meme.

Though Facebook is famous for having bigots.

Some people from the internet seem sane by comparison. My aunt being quite.. Ahem interesting in her arguments about barrack obama being the messenger of death.

It's not just Facebook. Every social media site out there is swamped with this stuff. TUMBLR, Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, etc... it's found everywhere.

Go on Google +. Nobody is there, so no meme .
(Actually there are people on Google +. Me, for instance. But less than those you quoted, I guess.)

That is not Google +. That is a Google account. The plus part is the social network.

Social media is weird. No wonder why I rarely use my facebook other than to make fun of the people who post political babble and or social justice things.

On one hand, it's the internet. It's just what happens here.

On the OTHER hand, this is the internet... so I have to point out they kind of are technically correct, which is the best kind of correct.

If his vagus nerve was compressed in a choke hold, that would cause a cardiac reaction, or so I am told by a 6th degree Ju Jistsu black belt.
Whatever the reason, the man is dead because of bad judgement on all sides.

Eh... Not really some of them are found in falsity and some of them ignore what is going on and are ignorant of certain things. Infact one of the girls that posts on my facebook wants all men to be sterlizied and mutilated because she believes men are the reason the world is as it is right now and are guilty of the sins of mankind.

Facebook has crazy people and some of them are on my friendslist.

Only so long as you guarantee it gets absolutely all of it. Frankly, I wouldn't be sad if we did somehow get back to the days where you had to be smart enough to negotiate a BBS to be online.
