Looks like a great day for some decapitations! Great work on the executioner, he got so much character! One thought though, what about getting those boots dirty as well since the apron is dirty and all? The same goes for the wip-guy, of course. What do you think about it? I thought the weathering would make more sense if you did, but maybe I'm the only one who will be thinking about it

And now a little update, a truescale helbrute.

Ok guys, new kids on the block, 3 hour painting. A new colorscheme that matches more with the cultists.

I love the very dark scheme with the bright yellow eyes, they make it really creepy !!!

I was more fond of your grey & yellow pattern though, but this one looks ace too !

Yeah I can understand that but the yellow and grey marines took about 8-9hours to paint each while the black ones only take 3-4 each, and I got sick of paint the grey and yellow.

I understand about the time, totally, but I do agree with Yggs about your grey and yellow guys.

Black marines look solid, though. Heavy bolter looks really good. I like the shaved down loyalist backpack on him as well.

I've never been fond of the CSM HBolter, but yours looks cool nevertheless

Tomorrow I will show you my own daemon engine, totally kitbashed.

Ok guys, here it is, my own daemon engine that can be both a maulerfiend and a forgefiend with both hades autocannon and plasma cannons.

Erh... Looks almost... "Ork-y", to me.... maybe it's the round "torso" that reminds me of the Killa Kans ?

Also, where are the plasma cannons ?

Apart from that, I like the way you modelled the legs, looks great !

Yeah I know, the base is from deff dread. But thanks anyway. The plasma cannons will be made shortly.
But I want to show you my first 5 to the new chaos warband, the abyssal silhouettes. I tried to make some glowing eyes, sadly the pic didn't show the eye right. I hope you like them anyway.

As for the Abyssal Silhouettes, they do look great !!! Indeed, the eyes don't look that glowy, but the combat squad looks really creepy !!

Just the way CSM should be

(In any case, if you want maybe a hint or two, I have done an OSL tutorial a few months ago... Maybe you'll find something interesting in it ?)

For being less eye candy than your grey and yellow guys, that 5 man squad looks really good. Something's going on with that deep teal color and the red earth at their feet. Not sure what it is, but I'm liking it.

Thanks Ygg, I used magnets on the custom fiends claws so I can either use it as maulerfiend, or I can attatch hades autocannon or the plasma cannon, I will show how it looks with hades in my next post

Thanks Moltar nice to hear you like the new guys to. Yeah I think the red dust/sand on their bases finishes the look and also bring the model and the base together to one piece.

1. First you do a triangle with ghost grey= GW:s space wolf grey

2. After that you paint the corners black or blackish because the background is blackish.

3. The final step you do is topaint the mark with pure white, and tadaa it's finished

Is that a Nephilim Vulcan Bolter you're using ?!? I hadn't thought you'd attach them like that, it looks great !! (But doesn't remove the simian aspect of the machine, sadly...)
