GW almost a bowling green table, but Genestealer Cult handily won. Having models with Fearless to keep you in the game after being broken is very handy.
Genestealer Cult can field 26 Fearless models (24 Acolytes, 2 Purestrains) in Kill Team. All those beautiful rending attacks, with a couple of infiltrating purestrains to cause people issues.
It's a nice set. However it is very marine biased in the basic set (200 points Marines vs 134 points Tau) so it keeps up sthat tradition for starter sets at least.
Where are there points values for Genestealer cultisit's? In the Overkill box?
Yep - freely given as a PDF download on the Deathwatch Overkill page. Unfortunately, you have to buy entire units with no options, so you are very limited in what you can take.
Basically, due to the 200 point limit and the Kill Team Force Org chart, you can take one of the following sets:
1x Favoured Disciples + 1x Faithful Throng (195 pts, 2x Troops)
1x Favoured Disciples + 1x Purestrain Princelings (115 pts, 1x Troops, 1x Elites)
1x Faithful Throng + 1x Purestrain Princelings (140 pts, 1x Troops, 1x Elites)
2x Favoured Disciples + 1x Purestrain Princelings (200 pts, 2x Troops, 1x Elites)
1x Brothers Aberrant (1x Elites, 120 pts, 1x Elites)
That's it. No other options without some sort of house rule coming into play. Hopefully we'll get a Codex some time, which I assume will give us lots more options with smaller minimum units and weapon options, but for now, that's what we're stuck with. The only Kill Team that even uses all 200 pts literally has NO Shooting ability aside from Autopistols. (Although it does have a crap-ton of S4 Rending Claws if you manage to get up-close and personal.)
