I probably wouldn't rebuild the stuff I have if the server were reset, but I'd at least like my sphere and house.

Barring that, at least let us port an inventory load of resources.

If the server is reset in November then my request would be rather easy to fill lol.

Id be happy with just creating a small cottage like building, mostly bricks, to be somewhat near the spawn.

Actually on second thought, giving away huge vaults of inventory is not going to be a good idea.

It's far too much to keep in one place and would be too much to use in any reasonable time frame. This would just lead to said vaults being raided or griefed (or just plain creepered) and I'd rather not deal with fallout from such situations.

I will copy structures across as requested (yes that includes the Manor) and for those who don't want their buildings copied across I may give some resources (I'll decide how much later), but definitely not the strict equivalent of their current structures. If you want that much, then ask for the structure and then dismantle it for the resources.

Also remember that 1.9 brings smooth stone generators (rather than cobble generators) and with the new abandoned mines and other possible future new additions before the official release, you may be keen to get back to mining for resources anyway and won't necessarily need a huge vault.

But this is all speculation until November, so none of this is final and we'll see how it goes.

Off Topic, I am interested in Commisioning a Mob Grinder to be built for me. You will bring all your own gear, but be paid with 10 diamonds. It must also work, and be underground.

So I tested 1.9pre on a backup of the Dakka world. Same again, a new 1.8-1.9 border with steep cliffs.

1.9 seems to like to make large oceans (or maybe they want there to be an ocean between 1.8 lands and 1.9). Some of them really are 2000 blocks wide this time, travellled all the way from 3000 to 5000 before I hit land.

Saw swamps and mountains, burnt down a npc village and explored the new nether features. They've fixed the experience orbs bug by simply making you not drop them (similar to the patch I've done to our 1.8.1 world).

Endermen don't seem to make zombie noises any more (or any noises) and also seem to be more reliable at the "look then look away" attack (but it still doesn't work every time).

Yeah 20 diamonds is more appropriate.
