I... actually don't know. Help?

So, my mom just gave me 10 CD-Rom CD's she didn't want, and I'm thinking about making a diorama on them. Does anyone have any ideas? I promise, I'll post pictures if i make anything!

40K, Chaos Marines. i do have a few Renegade Cadians too, but I'm willing to use any models for a nice diorama.

What about a renegade cadians trench scene? I've done a trench theme for some of my chaos stuff.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Not trying to piddle on your chips here but I wouldn't recommend using a CD as a base. A cheap plaque or base from an ornament or trophy will only cost a quid or two and be a much better option.
Also I wouldn't really use a base as a starting point, I'd get an idea for something first and design the whole diorama around that.

Oli: Can I be an orc?
Everyone: No.

Cd seems like a decent enough idea to me.. Any flat plain surface. Plus you have the pro of it being perfectly round. Get your terrain and basing bumf on it and it will be strengthened anyway

What's wrong with a CD?

Works perfectly well as a base for a model:

Cover with tissue and PVA/water and you are good to go.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away...

Hah, ninja'd by Dr H - I was going to say the same...

Only difference, I used a piece of coarse grit sandpaper and stuck that down to the CD with PVA...
