Just got back from the LVO. Great event.

There I ran into Simon and Dave. I was able to shake the creator's hand and thank him for the game. Then I was very happy to purchase the following on day 1:

4 decks of command cards (PHR, UCM, Scourge, Shaltari)
Starter plastics PHR and Shaltari
A reconquest rule book.

All for $105.00 !!!!!

Holy crappolla!!!!

Then on day 2.... I didn't get enough.

I went back to his booth and bought the following:
-UCM Special Character Ferrum
-UCM Kodiak
-PHR 2x Zeus
-Shaltari Coyote
-Scourge Desolator

$75.00 !!!!!

Then a drink hostess said I could buy 2 drink tickets ($7 each) and get yet another Shaltari Box for FREE....

Man, I came away from the LVO like a bandit! My only regret is that I didn't buy more drinks!!!!

Thanks for the update. I saw some very quick (and sadly crappy) video footage of the new units from their UK open day over on Beasts of War's weird satellite "live" subchannel but that is about it for the new units. It seems like the online coverage (and possibly enthusiasm) has died down a bit for the game. Did they have the new huge UCM dropship commander model (can't recall the name) on sale there as well?

Anyway, am I the only one who misinterpreted the thread title? I was expecting a new DZC expansion based on the works of Iain Banks where sapient drones deploy around the drop zone to castigate other drones on the morality of playing tabletop war games against even more drones.

Sadly I missed out on the drink ticket deal until it was too late, but awesome haul. Always good to see some new DZC players
