Well, yes...... they are a driving force behind me wanting to do them I wanted to do a White Minotaurs army years and years ago when I saw one in the how to paint space marines book! then down the track the Minotaurs got revamped and I found myself considering them again, the pull is strong and if you guys don't mind more metals??

and I think to really push the metal envelope I better show you the final version of Kaldor Da'mo as I said, I wanted to get a feel for how they'll come together and started on the HQ, i'm pretty happy with the colours I chose and everything fits well in my opinion. It was also my first time I tried to paint a vial which turned out pretty good for attempt number one! I really like the head and not just because it somewhat resembles me but it brings the pose to life and appears a mighty stalwart figure of justice

Cracking work! There's only one part that looks a little 'off'' to me, that's the very, very extreme highlight on the inside of the right arm. I can see why it's there, but from what I can tell nowhere else on the mini is that bright, so it throws me a little... That's a minor criticism of a fantastic mini, though!

Damo your head looks lovely...

Your armour techniques look very nice along with the force glow. Stubble is great as well, I've think you've mastered that as well

Keep up the great work, really looking forward to seeing where this army goes.

Oh hi! just thought i'd wish you all a VERY Merry Christmas and a safe and loving new year for 2016 just around the corner my Christmas was lovely and not as family stressful as I imagined went for a swim with my dad and niece in the pool at my folks place, the weather was a cloudless 30c degrees and we smashed out a lunch with BBQ Scallops wrapped in prosciutto, sliced ham off the bone, scalloped potatoes, and all the normal attendees you'd expect on a Christmas buffet!

I want to also thank you all again for sticking with me for another year and offering me the support and encouragement I need as I continue to learn and love painting miniatures I'm not sure how i'll go in 2016 as I have some larger home renovations, still i'll get painting done but my updates may be a touch more sporadic and as always I will endeavor to be here with you as much as possible sharing the flittering ideas I find myself getting distracted by

speaking of random...... I'm kind of trying out a couple of things that I have wanted to for a long time and i'll see what kind of response they get as to whether I follow on and do a force or some such ridiculousness

I like yellows on Imperial fists to start shading from brown but that's so awesome I might be persuaded! Beautiful work mate !

Had a quick bash at seeing if I felt them as a force and I gotta say while they could be really cool I just think I'll have more fun panting Imperial Fists and Orks and Grey Knights and Flesh eaters and all of Pauls models next year!

Those are fan-bloody-tastic! The metallics look as superb as ever, and the bionic face on the sarge is brilliant too!

I can see why you want to take a break from lots of metals after the AdMech, but that's still a great little unit. and speedily done too!

I think they all need red on their pads and could use some black as well. Give them a bit of contrast, ya know?

Loving the yellow on that IF marine. Much nicer than the GW scheme. It stands out, but it's not too bright if that makes sense?

Loving the Minotaurs guys too. Nice and gritty.

I have worked out a rough list of the projects you'll be seeing this year from me, of course I will slip in the odd one or two projects that take my fancy during the year if there's any nice model releases! but these things I am going to do if nothing else!

in no particular order:...........

* Necromunda Escher gang made from Raging Heroes Toughest Girls models.
* Sporadic Imperial Fist painting for fun
* HH 30K Salamanders army for Whaley, Troops and Fliers.
* Grey Knights army
* Five Tanks for my Flesh Eaters, Baal,Vindi, Pred, Razorbacks etc.....
* Kastelan Robots to finish Whaley's Admech
* another batch of random models for BigH's boy LittleH
* full Secret Weapon Miniatures 6x4 Urban Ruins board
* Terrain for table including buildings, rubble and scratch built

So there you go guys hope that gives you something to look forward to and also a list of things you can remind me of that I said i'd do

Looks like a good year ahead. Agreed with Whaley, looking forward to seeing new ideas and adventures in painting. Funny it seems you painted way more than that this year, but maybe that's just a feeling, not fact.

I got some more motor pool sat here in a box waiting to be sent, sorry the expense of Christmas and New Year and being afraid in case it disappeared in the Christmas rush of parcels means it will be on its way at the end of the month I am afraid.
