So I am in the process of converting a dreadnought with a samurai theme. Only problem is I can't find a decent sized sword. Anyone have any leads on big swords, or glaives?

The Nemesis Dreadknight sword is pretty cool. Though maybe more European in feel. Maybe something Eldar. They tend to have swords that would more fit your theme i think. Cutting edge on one side and flat and blunt along the other. The wraithlords sword could be a good fit? Sorry, not too sure of sizing, but I think it could be made to work. Good luck.

I almost wonder if a GI Joe ninja weapon might work.

Or another idea might be to get hold of one of those sword key-rings. Easily available online. The league of legends ones might be good. Lots of Asian characters . Others such as the sword art online and more realistic ones come with scabbards. which would be nice to add to your model for a static detail, or if you are feeling more adventurous, drawing the sword with one hand while holding the scabbard in the other.. Ohh the creative juices are flowing now! Btw, make sure sizings are right before you spend any money if you decide to go this route. Good luck.

You could definitely convert something out of the eldar wraithlord swords or the wraithseer spear. Just grab an actual dreadnought hand and get converting.

Pretty sure you'd get one from a japanese giant fighting robot toy - I had a quick look on AliEx and saw some similar stuff for gundam - check out "BTF Sword Weapon Unit Equipment for 1/100 MG MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame" image #4.

But then I also saw a transforming 5 thomas the tank engine mecha voltron style toy so I am officially side tracked.. Easter present for nephew.. sorted!
