I recently built and painted a new model to use in my Pthfinder Society games and as I took a lot of time to do so I want to be able to transport him without daminging the model. The model in question is Shadowblade. I usually use empty dice boxes but he does not fit. I really don't want to damage it but I don't want to carry my big case of 40K models with me either. Any sugestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

"Because the Wolves kill cleanly, and we do not. They also kill quickly, and we have never done that, either. They fight, they win, and they stalk back to their ships with their tails held high. If they were ever ordered to destroy another Legion, they would do it by hurling warrior against warrior, seeking to grind their enemies down with the admirable delusions of the 'noble savage'. If we were ever ordered to assault another Legion, we would virus bomb their recruitment worlds; slaughter their serfs and slaves; poison their gene-seed repositories and spend the next dozen decades watching them die slow, humiliating deaths. Night after night, raid after raid, we'd overwhelm stragglers from their fleets and bleach their skulls to hang from our armour, until none remained. But that isn't the quick execution the Emperor needs, is it? The Wolves go for the throat. We go for the eyes. Then the tongue. Then the hands. Then the feet. Then we skin the crippled remains, and offer it up as an example to any still bearing witness. The Wolves were warriors before they became soldiers. We were murderers first, last, and always!" —Jago Sevatarion

This is what I would suggest for smaller amounts of minis. They also come in pluckfoam and are of outstanding quality. There used to be an even smaller with just one layer but I don't find it anymore.

I will have to see if I can't find something like that stateside. 22.28 USD befor shipping is a bit much for one mini. Thanks for the tip though.

I’ve used plastic card boxes, both the ~1" and ~2” tall ones, filled with scrap foam. It works.

How about a queue card box filled with foam or tissue paper? That would be like 3 dollars.

I've transported a few pathfinder minis before wrapped in foam in one of the tubes that Crystal Light is sold in. Worked really well.

Yup. This. Exactly this. Cardboard boxes are cheap and come in every size imaginable. Foam is cheap, at least the type of foam you would use here...
