If I give the justicar a personal teleporter, will the terminator unit move as jump infantry?
I don't see the point in being able to give him one unless it does, does it just mean they can't shunt? Or is there just no point in giving him one?

We can slay the Tyranids on our worlds, blast their fleets from the space, grind their armies to torn and ruined fragments. But their hunger? That is beyond our ability to slay.

How are you giving him a personal teleporter?

Units always move as per the slowest model in the unit, I recall.

It's special issue wargear. So no point? Didn't think so really

It's in the Special Issue Wargear section in the armoury, it's not on the table that says "this is an item people can buy!". Personal teleporters come on Interceptors and Dreadknights, nowhere else.

Which is stupid, I want a teleporting GM in artificer armour to hang out with my Interceptors, but that would be too cool.

As above. You need to be looking at the 'Grey Knights Wargear List' found at the beginning of the army list entries to determine what equipment you can take.

You can't rely on 3rd party army builders to help you build legal lists. They make the process more convenient, sure... but you still need a solid, working knowledge of the army.

I play Tau. I could probably write out long hand all the options every unit can take right now. BUT... I'd forget the points cost and writing things takes forever. That's where these tools come in handy.

I use Quartermaster for iOS. Give it a shot. I like it much better than Battlescribe.

His issue wasn't that Battlescribe was allowing his Justicar to take a teleporter, it's that he was confusing the personal teleporter with a teleport homer.

Fair, but my comment stands. You can't rely on 3rd party apps to give you the full picture.

If I had a dollar for every time I heard "but Battlescribe/Army Builder/Quartermaster let me do it", I wouldn't be saving up for the upcoming Ad Mech release.
