Bugonia

“You’re a credit to the human race, Ted.”

Bugonia wears the skin of a psychological thriller film to hide its sinister true form: a dark comedy. It was wildly entertaining with multiple …what is the comedy equivalent of a jump scare? A jump laugh? Even the soundtrack got some great laughs. The cast are great, the cinematography is great, the direction is sharp. The ending epilogue song is stuck in my head…

He has other movies? Are they Youtube shorts or something?

Samurai Wolf 2: Hell Cut

A sequel to the B&W samurai exploitatio flick Samurai Wolf that delivers more of the same. The plot and pacing is pretty fast-paced, the sword fighting is not perfectly shot/choreographed, but it delivers the same dirty, grimy, Samurai-exploitation feel of the original. That's the stuff baby!
