Not the sort of thing I'd usually ask about, but he went off to Afghanistan around June 2014 and said that he expected to be back at the beginning of September 2014, and doesn't seem to have been back since he left, so it's been in the back of my mind when he didn't pop back up afterwards. Just seeing if anyone knows him here and if he's safe/ok?

I did PM him. Also emailed. Both before posting this. (Which is why I posted this!) He got back to me a couple of days ago and I'm happy to say that he's safe and well. Just busy.
