I'm glad you can pick multiples, because I think I ended up picking most of them!

EDIT: Damn, just realised I missed one too...

You missed Seven Years War and AWI, two of the biggest traditional historical periods, after WW2 and Naps.

Perhaps a better poll would have been to split by historical period as these aint really nationalities.

I can't vote again but chalk up another for AWI and WW2 Russian.

Ok whilst I did miss a semi-popular period in AWI [that is now included], but SYW a big historical period really? I've only heard that war being mentioned in a gaming context [both by players and manufacturers] a few times since I first got here.

Too bloody true!

Well I suppose I should list them...

I have, all in 15mm and in varying stages of incomplete;

FoW
WW2 British Armour (Normandy '44) - 3RTR with support, plans to expand to cover various supporting units from 11th Armoured
WW2 German Infantry (Normandy '44) - Reasonably generic Grenadierkompanie
WW2 German 21st Panzer Panzerspahkompanie (Normandy '44) - Plans to expand this with an Aufklarungsschwadron
WW2 Soviet Strelkovy (Stalingrad '42/'43)
Vietnam PAVN, with enough Local Force to probably run a company of them too. (Plans to base some individually for Ambush Valley but not done that yet)

Bolt Action
WW2 German (Normandy '44)
WW2 British (Normandy '44)

Saga
Viking warband (9 pts)

FoG
Marian/Caesaren Romans
Gauls
Early Hundred Years War English
Third Crusade Franks

FoGR
English Civil War Royalists

AWI British/Loyalist

That's not even counting the company of StuGs I can't find anymore, the WW1 stuff I got for an also unfinished diorama and plan to expand into armies (British and German for the diorama, but I really want to do an army of late-war French), plans to do counterpart armies (Mid-war Stalingrad Germans, Saracens, Vietnam US, maybe another SAGA warband....)

Let's just say that my project list is never empty!

"Colonial Wars" generally refers to mid- to late-nineteenth-century Britain's conflicts with the indigenous peoples of her empire.

For me the term refers to any war directly associated with the European colonisation of Africa,America etc ,from the Spanish conquest of the Aztec s to the at least the Zulu wars. So there

Better put WW1 and WW2 in there as well then... and Naps, and ECW and 30 years war... after all King Philips War is that period.

Forgot to tick late mediaeval.

I have the following.

28mm Hussites

15mm ECW (Early Parliamentarians)
15mm SCW Republicans
15mm SCW Nationalists
15mm WWII Soviets (1941)
15mm 'Soviet' Czechoslovakians (1944/5)
15mm WWII Germans (1944/5)
15mm WWII Slovaks (1941/2)
15mm 6DW Jordanians

I'm contemplating doing something WWI or RCW based as well as VBCW (not strictly historical). I'm not sure exactly what yet.

It's not that popular but it would be interesting to see who else plays Spanish Civil War.

I said "directly associated". Whilst the Nap and World wars did involve colonies in some way colonising of non-European states and subjugating the indigenous people was far from the main aim of the combatants.

Got anyone more to complain about?
