After seeing the sneak peek of the forgeworld kit for the Chaos Knight at Warhammer World Grand Opening, does anyone have any guesses on rules? Will we see a dataslate or expermental rules by Forgeworld?

Also do you think it will be a single kit? Or will we see multiple variations?

I'm hoping for Chaos God specific armor mods. But honestly who knows what they will publish.

I got a shiny dollar that says it's got Khorne and Nurgle parts and nothing that makes it mesh with the other two Who Were Those Guys Again?

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

I think its cool they are doing chaos knights but I feel you could mod a much cooler Chaos Knight compared to that first one.

No, it'll cost 25-35% more, as you'll be buying the original plastic kit AND the resin conversion parts.
Anyway, I expect the Chaos Knight to be largely the same as the Imperial Knights, but with options for Marks of the different Chaos Gods and possibly demonic possession.

It does look like it has some kind of sonic weapon..

Standard FW practice is to release downloadable rules when it comes out.

Where do you see that? The Chaos Knight clearly has a rapid fire battle cannon with a heavy stubber attached, just like regular Paladins.

I think he meant the point cost, because 888pts is just ridiculous.

But don't expect something like 230-300pts, after all GW and FW like to overprice the points of Chaos stuffs.

But then again it might be a different unit all together, since the belly cannon is not there anymore and the spot is covered by a plate, lets wait for the experimental rules pdf, one of the things i love about FW.

That's a Reaper Chainsword or an equivalent.

It's there in case you want to stab things instead of slicing! I'm sure that makes sense in the Warp at least. Or maybe now it functions better as a can opener for those Land Raiders?

Interesting. They're going with the same thing they did with the Questoris chassis - resin parts on top of the original plastic cast parts.

Also, is that quite literally a leg swap for the Lord of Skulls? I'm going to cry if they did that and sold it as a "Chaos Khorne Knight".

It would be nice to see SOMETHING Slaanesh themed in the game. They don't even have a named greater daemon. (besides the gargantuan one) my wife's army deserves some love, it sucks that every time I tell her of new chaos supplements, it ends up being khorn or nurggle.

Slaanesh is probably my favourite (although I like Nurgle too) and yeah it sucks how little attention Slaanesh and Tzeench get. And a Slaanesh knight could be really cool, really different.

It'd be nice to see multiple kits, but likely we'll just see one or two conversion kits for the plastic beastie.

As for rules, I'm guessing it'll either be a copy-paste of the loyalist rules with an option for dedication to a god tossed on top much like Warhounds/Reavers, or if they go more full GW style, it'll be more random tables with lots of useless junk.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

I am planning the parts and pieces to make myself a Subjugator based on other conversions I have seen around the internet.

If GW or even FW were to actually make a Subjugator, I would absolutely spend the money on it.

Hellstriders, Hellknights, Hellscourges, and Questors would all be welcome as well, but it's the Subjugator that I want soooo badly.

It might just be me, but the chaos knight just looks like the paladin kit with bumps on it. They could have done so much more with it and taken that in so many different directions, but no. More spikes for the spike god.

The legs for the lord of skulls is nifty, though.

I went to Hershey Park in central PA this year, and I have to say I was more than a little disappointed. I fully expected the entire theme park to be make entirely of chocolate, but no. Here in America, we have "building codes," and some other nonsense about chocolate melting if don't store it someplace kept below room temperature.
