I am wondering if you can mount weapons on models where they are normally not mounted? For example on a Tau crisis suit can you mount missile pods on the sides of the jump pack aiming up instead of on the shoulders. Call it a conversion maybe? lol

For Infantry models it makes no difference whatsoever. For vehicles, there would be a rules impact since you measure from the weapon. I would say absolutely yes for any non-vehicles. For vehicles, be prepared for opponents to be unhappy if the conversion gives in game advantage... unless the conversion looks super cool. The I find most people don't care.

Okay thanks guys. the new mounting location is only 1 or 2mm from the shoulder mounting point. so It shouldn't be a big deal. I just don't like missile pods attached to the arms on battle suits lol.
