Would love to back but I don't back projects where ROW pays for shipping and the US doesn't. What's with the $5 reward? you get a billboard if you live in the US but only a thank you if you live in ROW? No thanks, I'll pass.

Are these deadzone compatible with 3x3" dimensions?

yeah,
We are not idiots we know that US pledges include shipping.
We don't like ROW paying that shipping plus our own.

Most KS now state the Shipping costs for everyone.

overtyrant, the $5 reward says US only (so you're not supposed to select it if you're international - it makes sense that it'd be hard for them to ship that low of a pledge level abroad, most of the cost of that level even to the US would be shipping).

Ouch though, the shipping internationally does look steep, but it's likely a heavy product... they must be aiming mostly for US backers.

I am really impressed at the total to backer ratio - $30K from 122 people is insane! Very well done there getting people who are buying in to buy a whole table of terrain or the like (average pledge is almost $250).

Actually, they've subsidised the shipping internationally. U.S. shipping is anticipated to be between $10-$15 whereas international shipping is anticipated to be $60-76. MDF ain't cheap to ship.

They're discounting international shipping more than the U.S. is getting a "discount" with the shipping that's included.

That being said, generally speaking it's such a pain to get things to the ROW, especially if they're making it truly "friendly" (tariff free and such)
They hope to get European/ROW distributors after the Kickstarter, but they're being conservative for now. More interested in getting the product made than worrying about getting messed over by international shipping. We've all seen that happen to Kickstarters.

Deadzone is grid based, so unless the buildings themselves are the right dimensions, I'm not sure they'll work.

You're doing the laser cutting, right SharkMountedOne (I assume you're Shark Mounted Lasers)?

Squig, here's the dimensions:

Dimensions/Scale

One_Block= 6"W x6"L x4"H (15.24cm X 15.24cm X 10.16cm)

Two_Block=6"W x12"L x4"H (15.24cm X 30.48cm X 10.16cm)

Four_Block=12"W x12"L x4"H (30.48cm X 30.48cm X 10.16cm)

The stuff looks pretty nice to me. Not having to paint it is a big plus, too. I'm just not sure I need another KS to back right now. If not for Zombicide, Bones 3, and the fact that I just plunked down $100 on Infinity, I'd be interested in backing.

Yeah, we're doing the laser cutting for them! Aardvark Graphic Solutions is handling the printing. Hexagon Mill is mainly just designing products, and selling "Infinity The Game" miniatures and accessories.

The Kickstarter does have shipping abroad, but it's not cheap. Hexagon Mill wasn't able to sort out an inexpensive way, but they're working on getting European distributors and such when the product goes to retail which should help.

That's good news! I'd be willing to shell out for the shipping, the products looks awesome!
