Hey guys! see below on the picture, I did my best to capture a few video's I've seen online for eyes.
As most of the samples show on the Youtubes were 40k they showed blue (SM) and green for necrons and such.
Now while I notice Tomb Kings most of the time having green eyes I tried my best to create a red glow... needless to say it came out . pinkish which I think is because I added too much white.
still new and warming up back to painting so hints are appreciated, cheers!

Graduate to orange/yellow instead of white to avoid pinkness.

Yeah.. If you go into the science of colour/light, technically youve done right as you should graduate into your surface colour, in this case white, however in this case it doesnt really work, and its worth taking some artistic license and going to an orange colour. I also think youve overdone it a little. Try a little less next time, almost a drybrush around the empty socket.

You may want to use a model with actual eyes! Just stick a small piece of GS into the eyesocket. Like REALLY small. Your technique seems good though! If you want some cheaper skellys PM me, as I feel your pain on GW skellys
The example in the video I posted above doesn't have 'eyes' either.

thanks for all your help guys ! after much review I've actually went back and toned it down with more darker red and its bearable but to your points red is just not working
I will go fourth with orange and yellow to see how that works, thank goodness I spared only 1 skelly!
Cheers!
