I've been assembling the new models, love the detail and the way they all fit together, but one of the Liberators has a problem between two components

In the instructions B9,B10 and B11 have a step to attach the shield part (B12), but the arm doesn't have the bump to correspond to the shield slot and as a result it's a crappy fit?

I've had a few other fit issues, but they have all been my problem and subsequently resolved, but I was wondering if anyone else had this issue too, so I can tell myself I'm not mad?

I think one of the arms had a case of "push the pieces together and twist them until they seem to lock". The armor on the arm seemed to push up against the elbow pad just right at a certain angle. Not sure if that's the same liberator you're talking about.

I remember one being like that, this has a flat pad on the body, but a slot on the arm. This photo shows the issue. I can work around it, but given the rest of the figures go together so precisely, this is a bit strange.

I think that was the one I was talking about. The section with the bubble goes against the flat stump, but the overhang on the lower arm's armor fits over the biceps armor in a narrow arc, or choice of angles. I think it fits in a way that either makes the shield stick out more perpendicular to the body than expected or fits more flush against the body than expected. I forget, because I remember both of those unexpected fits happening, but I assembled the liberators in a blur and don't remember which pose went with which pieces.

Maybe try dry fitting it while holding it upside down or at a different angle so that preconceptions about how it should fit don't interfere with how it does fit?
