Here is a silly question but where are all the female miniatures in AoS/WHFB... I know a few but what are the others and which characters are female (I am not near my pc so cannot read up on all the rules) and personally in terms of background which are your fav female characters/units and your favourite lore moments of theirs (that you read or heard about) either way, GURL POWER...

I ask because now, you CAN have an all female force in AoS (maidens of sigmar?) whilst before you were limited... and since I am still waiting for new units and such just testing the waters, I need to buy Khalida for my skellies

Personally, I use the Helga dwarf model from the Grudge of Drong set as a champion in my warriors unit. I've actually kept track of some of the challenges she's managed to win. (Including one over a Khorne Chaos Champion)

I also have about 3 damsels painted up in my Bretonnian army, plus the one on the unicorn which my wife bought for me.

I'm not an AoS player, but with exception of my Beastmen I usually have one female miniature on the table in all my other WFB army battles.

Proudly howling at 40k games since 1996.

I always used my Sisters of Sigmar Mordheim miniatures as my warrior-priests in WHFB. Those were awesome minis!

Alles klar, eh, Kommissar?

yea I wanted to get them... but only on ebay these days :(

I might have to convert my metal wyches into some hero champ models (proxies), I tihk I also got at least 1 incubi with "breast" plate that would make a great hero miniature...

I dunno, I always wanted to have an all female force in fantasy, I know 40k has sisters of battle and I will most likely buy them in the long run but I prefer fantasy to sci fi... meh... annoying, I have to make do with daemonettes and such :/

If people are still playing AoS when Raging Heroes 2 comes to retail, I plan to use some of their sisters to make an all-woman Stormhost.

I am really happy that the Sigmarine fluff doesn't rule out women the same way Space Marine canon does.

I'm updating my old "Empire" army to be an Order army, with the theme of a generic D&D party (hero spam).

I bought Alarielle the Radiant. Great model and cool ability. Heals other heroes D6 wounds so she will act as my D&D style cleric. Also bought her Handmaiden and now my army isn't such a sausage-fest :-)

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

On the subject of women in the Stormcast ranks - I got the starter set recently, and have decided I want something other than the golden mask look. So, I'm going to be sticking Space Wolf heads in (when my bits arrive) to achieve something a bit more like Asgardian warriors in the Thor movies.

Of course, the Thor movies have Sif, and I'd like to have some female Stormcast in my force. I can't find/think of any companies that make armored female models in this size, such that they could pass as Stormcast (Please send me links if you do think of anything) but I reasoned that it's possible there's already women in the "male" armor, as the armor was designed by the alliance to make uniform armies, not to express individuality.

So, I blue-tacked a Statuesque miniatures head into a Stormcast body, to see how it would look. For my part I like it, although I intend to make some green stuff braids for her, so that she looks more like a Norsica/Ulric worshipping type and will fit in with the Space Wolf bits. I'm posting in case anyone was considering doing the same, but was worried how it would look.

your reason is sound, remember there is no such thing as male armour, to me sigmarines are wearing very generic humanoid armour that would fit even the mightiest of woman... good luck

You could have an all female force before, it just required a bit more spending and a willingness to do some converting if you wanted to go outside of the available options

Dark Elves have Witch Elves, Sisters of Slaughter, Hags, Sorceresses, and Medusae.
High Elves have the Sisters of Avelorn, Alarielle the Everqueen, and the Handmaiden of the Everqueen.
Wood Elves have a 50/50 split in all of their boxes and their blisters of male and female models.

From those three armies as well you have the options of heroes being female, if you wanted to kitbash them. Making a Dark Elf Assassin out of a Sister of Slaughter or Witch Elf, for example, is a joke.
