I was wondering if anyone knows of a kit to replace the lasgun arrays on chimeras (I never use them and they're ugy)
I will put the chapterhouse wheelkits on them too, hopefully they will look great.

There are 3 main options:
- just leave the holes unfilled. This tends to look better if the chimera also has its hull top hatch and turret hatch open
- chop off the lasgun barrels and mount their ball mounts sideways so that only part of the balls poke through the holes
- fill the hull holes with discs of plasticard

If you Google images of '40K chimera', you'll see examples of all three

Another thing you could do is to get some screen door mesh, cut it up and glue it underneath the holes.

I ran extra lengths of track over the holes to conceal them entirely on my Chimera based russes.

I put a strip of plasticard under the lasgun ports.
