Looking to find some decent model alternatives to some of the FW artillery. Names Quad (Thudd) Guns and Earthshaker cannons.

However, I am not too familiar with non-GW model ranges. Anybody have any ideas? Thudd guns seem the hardest as there isn't many 4-barrel artillery models out there it seems.

Thunderfire cannon?

You can take 4 mortars from the heavy weapons box and kit bash them with an empire great cannon or dwarf organ gun for some grimdark WWI artillery.

I'm doing rapier laser batteries with las cannons and kataphron battle servitors.

In my case I made mine based on Vengeance Batteries my earthshaken cannons and some plasticard:

I recently bought a Dragon 1/35 German Flak 88mm cannon to at my local modelling store and I got to say it comes perfectly with my army. I put some cardobard along the gun hull to make a platform for the crew and add some imperial decorations. Results and scale are satisfying. For 50€, I got a highly detailled model (way more detailled than any GW kit) so I'm quite happy !

1/35 or 1/48 military model anti tank guns and howitzers make pretty good and cheap (yet high quality depending on the maker) alternatives.

It may have more than 4 barrels (they have 6!), but Nebelwerfers (and other rocket tube artillery) can fit the job

How did you do the sand bags? is that medical gauss?
