End of Season Conclusions So Far:
Testament of Sister New Devil - Actually pretty good, looking forward to the second season later this year. Also the bluerays. For reasons.
KanColle - I got everything /I/ wanted out of it. Looking forward to Season 2 as well.
Saekano (with the much prefered subtitle translation "How to Train the Ordinary Girl to be a Heroine" in my book" was a knock out hit for me that was over way too fast. Very satisfying season end that has everything set for some drama and resolution with season two. Don't believe in you, believe in the me who believes in you. Especially in episode 12(13?)

So, semi-related. I had a math exam, flipped out and drew kanji all over my arm and put on a bandanna TK (Angel beats) style and did the whole exam like that.
And PASSED. Get chance and luck my friends, I'm doing it in all my exams from now on.

That's one of the best things I've heard all day.

Yes, the end of KanColle FELT GOOD. I like how they lamp-shaded how there's more than meets the eyes when it comes to the Abyssal Girls, so I hope this was them setting up the stage for Season 2.

Also, after spending so much time with a Kongou in World of Warships and how she is in KanColle, she is no doubt my Ship-Waifu.

Also been watching nanatsu no taizai...after reading the manga its just annoying when an episode ends right before a good bit so I have to wait for what I KNOW is coming.

Having only started KanColle because of the discussion in this thread, I liked it a lot.

I have been taking it easy on the shows that tug at my heartstrings, so I started to watch Kuroko's Basketball, which has proven worth the time for the four or five episodes I've watched so far.

Log Horizon is shaping up for a nice killer ending, and more Durarara!!!

So, I finally started Black Bullet.
Not sure what to think. On one hand the animation is well done, the opening song is great, and the action is brutal and visceral.
On the other hand the story and dialogue is kind of...bad. I found it to be badly written and difficult to get into. It might get better and it could just be the subs, but currently I'm up to episode 7 and I am not too impressed.

Same with the characters; I don't find them interesting with the exception of Kagetane. I do enjoy the interaction between Enju and Satomi / Kirasa and Satomi but other than that...eh.
What's the thing that happens that pisses every off? Apparently something happens in the anime that makes everyone hates it.

Its nearer the end, If its what I think it is... I knew it certainly ruffled my feathers a tad. But I was a bit more attached to the characters and what was going on than you seem to be so YMMV. And it didnt make me hate the anime. Just the situation as its a tad fethed .

I just watched through the SAO part of SAO with a group. I enjoyed myself, but I still don't get the extreme praise it gets/got.

Oh, and evil Kisara kind of came out of no where. Felt a bit rush. In fact the whole revenge against the Tendo family thing seems to be rushed.

I think a lot of the praise is from Futurists, Transhumanists and other advocates of post-human evolution. The show takes a pretty hard look at some of the moral consequences of fully-immersive VR- you'll see this especially in later arcs, such as the repurcussions of SAO that crop up in GunGale, and the entirety of Mother's Rosario.

Thats one of the main things I hold against the show, several things felt too rushed. The breakneck shift feeling like it was going to be a small scale "cop show" To holy feth full scale war with these things felt very jarring for the most part I enjoyed it though. Its getting older now and I dont think anythings been mentioned of a season 2. I may be misinformed though.

Yeah dire is one way to describe it. I blitzed the show in one day so when it happened I had to set my laptop down for a minute or two and take a breather.

In other News I finished Kancolle today. Finally went premium to not have to wait for the finale. (I know how Midway went and I did not like the look of that cliffhanger) Loved that it looks like we'll maybe get a bit of depth out of the abyssal's

Being a responsible adult sucks sometimes.

Hmm, what to watch next. Eh, maybe I'll just wait for UBW. Although Testament of a New Devil was kinda fun....

World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman deserves special mention this season for tying up the anime nicely in 12 episodes.
