I have gone over this for quite a few days and I am now reaching out into the interwebz for help ... thunder wolf cav alternate models ? now the looks for this smaller army will be "the fallen " most likely pre heresy non chaos mutation n marks etc. Any one who has read the descent of angels books think knights of lupis almost. I have been leaning closer and closer to a mix of scibor mini bear riders and the new lord celestant on the dragon thing. i am more hesitant with the age of sigmar model as it will mostly be stretching my limited conversions skills. Help me dakka your my only hope !!

Do you want them to be actual wolves or are you looking for any kind of alternate animal mount?

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Thought about Ogre Mournfangs? A bit more primal and bulky than the thunderwolves, the poses are a bit static though.

Bitspudlo has some great ones. Not cheap though my friend l, at about $90 for three.

Mythicast also has a squad of them. They look decent but I don't even know if the site is still up.

Under the couch

I used slightly converted Juggernauts, for a cyborg 'wolf' look...

Nice conversions, insaniak - I'd never thought of de-chaosifying Juggernauts

Those remind me of Gozer's dogs in Ghostbusters.

What about Werewolf models for Wulfen counts as Thunderwolves (Never liked the marines riding wolves direction)
