Subject: Report of the Squigoths First Battle

Some freinds of mine think that since I love the Warhammer 40k esthetic so much especially the orks I really need to play the actual game.
So I started making an Ork army... I I figured I'd start with a squigoth.
I've got the base unit, but I need to mount guns on it
Does anyone have any suggestions?
The only problem I have is I can't really seem to control my squigoth...
It seems to get mopey and wander off...
or it jut seems to lay there and refuse to move...
Honestly I'm not sure what I can do to improve my unit, and with a insubordinate as it is I don't think giving it guns is a good Idea yet
Its just a base unit so far but I think it has possibilities
LOL sorry It was a rough day today, I lost one of my hens so I needed to do something silly, and since my chicken sized sisters of battle armor is still in the planning stage I figured I should start turning my cat, Salem, into a squigoth... do you think he'd be allowed in your game? He 22 years old and loves to swat small figures right off the table so I think he'd be a good trooper

I think that Squiggoth is being surprisingly patient.

Have you tried washing the very patient model before any further mods are to be undertaken?

Well I took the advice and tried washing the squiggoth
I don't think it looks happy
I then tried drying it off but it didn seem to improve its mood. and it still won't listen to me

Very cute. We have two squiggoths (though they aren't so well armored as yours). They have a tendency to flop down in the middle of the gaming table. At which point they become impassible terrain and we treat them like any other terrain piece.

Gitsplitta, and Buttery I have seen both those behaviors with this model of squiggoths. saddly it seems to be pretty common
But I have some bad news...
It looks like the Imperial Guard has developed a unit to counter our Squiggoths...
I think its called an Imperial Dog Walker.
LOL yeah I know its not warhammer but come on thats awesome

Okay My Squiggoth saw his first battle today... It was an unexpected battle. The amour was out getting modded when we were suddenly attacked by one of those Imperial Guard Dog walkers.
The battle was fierce and even though My squiggoth was unarmed and unarmored it leaped into battle.
For those of you wondering how it went. I think this picture speaks louder then any words to the outcome
belive it or not they were like that for about an hour

Without putting a dampner on lulz, do you think putting a large plastic box on the back of your Cat might stress it at bit?
It has absolutely no reference point to this and likely dosent know what you are trying to achieve.
or it jut seems to lay there and refuse to move...
Honestly I'm not sure what I can do to improve my unit, and with a insubordinate as it is I don't think giving it guns is a good Idea yet
Hmmm, possibly scared out of its wits? The more I see of it in the corner the more the old Emo/Hippy/Leftwing Apologist emerges.
In other words: Take the bloody box off your cats back and leave it be.

Nah Salems not the sort to get stressed out over that. hes actually sitting on my shoulder right now.
the pics of him in the corner was because I'd just given him a bath and clipped his nails. I slipped the tray there and it was on for all of 10 seconds. cept for the shot of him in the bath since its what I was using to scoop cleanwater over him to rinse off the soap. So he was trying you get the bathroom door open so he could run off and curse me out. Besides he got me back you shoul see the bloody cuts he left on my arms and legs.
the first pick is more along the lines of how salem feels about stuff. at 22 hes the "Okay what ever your doing this silly putting stuff on my thing again so you can take a picture... I better get tuna or cream after this" kinda cat. hell when I was working for a call center that let me work out of my home he used to climb on my belly while I was working and if I didn't pick up the keyboard and rest it on his back he'd start to meow, and get me in trouble if anyone on the call heard him. At least he only purred as I typed which while loud I could and had passed if off as static on the line.
So don't worry the box didn't bother him, and as much as I joke about it and think it would look cool to paint it up and mount guns on it not gonna happen simply becaue I'd get one photo of it and have no further use for it
Video of him from the callcenter days

and this one shows how you can hear him purring
