New Sharktipede campaign is live for even more big monsters! The previous campaign went really well, I’m sure this one will too

Here they are:

And for stretch goals:

These are all sculpted by Clint MacLean, he did my Werewolves and Chupacabras for Blackwater Gulch. He’s a great sculptor and all around nice fella, so go check it out

Those are some pretty cool monsters.

What material will these be in?

I don't suppose you could sell the Scorpio-Rex to Reaper for Bonesification? That has "new classic encounter monster" written all over it.

Damn. That's right up my alley.

I wanted to back the original one too. Not sure why I didn't? Finances maybe?

Will be keeping my monstrous eyes on this one.

I just got the Sharktipede last time, it was "good ole fashioned resin". It had lots of parts thanks to all the centipede legs, and no instructions, but if you can build a GW mini you can figure it out. Was a good model overall, nice detail but I haven't gotten around to painting it yet (not that I have time to paint anything at all these days, but still)

Any idea how big these are going to be?

I can't find any size estimates or measurements.

If that Scorpion Rex is big enough I'll pledge.

He said in the comments he'll have some size/scale pics later tonight hopefully.

But the original Sharkipede would be comprable to a big monster or dreadnought in 40k, or the old metal greater demons. Not giant model, but it would look about right on a 60mm base.

So, I lied.. Sharktipede is actually a lot bigger than I thought.. here's a quick pic I took for size comparisons

Nice pic, and look at that mech on the right, I need those guns (ordering more guns from Necros so just had to mention it... love those medium mechs!).

While I find the Sharktipede concept a bit silly, the Scorpion Rex is interesting... but I think I would have been more tempted if it had just been a Scorpion OR a Rex (call me old-fasioned!)

A Rex with scorpion style powered armor. That's what we need. Make it compatible with Mechadrome!

i shall offer up some sacrifices to the dark Ebay Gods, in the hopes that they hear my pleas of needed monies to satiate the Great Kickstarter, but the Gods are fickle things, and do not always heed my words.

I like these, but I'm having trouble imagining the Scorpion Rex actually stinging anything without falling flat on his face every time.
