Im gonna play a friendly game with 3 mates this weekend. I believe it's gonna be orks/nids vs my IG and my friend's eldar. It's only a 1000pt game, so each player is bringing 500pts.

I had this idea that I could put a suicide melta vet squad in his wave serpent to take out some tyranid synapse/MC. He could then put his dark reapers in my chimera and roll around firing 3(is it 3?) of them out of the top hatch. Is this a viable/legal tactic?
I was also gonna bring a paskisher with an eradicator buddy. My mate's eldar was gonna focus on mobility for hit n run and objective grabbing.
Any tips or comments would be welcome.

If you're playing crazy house rules where eldar can go in guard vehicles then yes those sound like fun ideas for sure.

I just have these images in my head -

Vet Squad in the Wave Serpent
"Ooh this is posh isn't it? Nice to ride in a bit of comfort for a change!"

Dark Reapers in the Chim
"It smells in here"

I did warn him that my lads would be leaving muddy footprints and ciggy butts in his classy transport. So is there a rule where different races cant use each others transports? even if they're playing as an allied list? Im not sure on the mechanics of 2v2, ive only played like 4 games in my whole career haha. I imagine each allied side would act as a single army for turn purposes, rather than each player commanding their own 500 points for a turn, ie 2 turns per cycle rather than 4. is that right?
