do they get power weapons?

If so just use it as a power maul or snap the arm and go back to the drawing board.

Libby's automatically come with a Force Weapon. Why would you need a power fist..??

Sometimes, the only truth people understand, comes from the barrel of a gun.

If you're past the point of removing the fist from mini without damaging the Libby's model itself then I'd recommend doing some conversion/kitbash work or fancy paintwork to make it more easily pass as a counts-as alt. weapon for those who would be confused

I guess I could do some freehand work on the powerfist and say he has summoned the powerfist for battle but he can't actually use it, and just use warding stave rules

He is holding a tome/book in one hand, and has the powerfist/stormbolter on the other.

He also has a large mace tied to his belt.

I'm thinking what I'll do is free-hand the powerfist to make it look like he has summoned it from the Warp, but not actually use it in game-play (it does look f** awesome though ).

Then what i'll do is run him with a stormbolter for +5 Points, and count the 'mace' as his nemesis warding stave?

Thoughts?

If you're already happy with how it looks (it won you a painting competition, that's pretty darn cool), then the only thing you have to do is just remind your opponents that it's counting as another weapon

Just say it's a daemon hammer for rules purposes, and say he just really enjoys fisting things for fluff purposes.

Just call it a Nemesis Doomfist, and tell your opponent what weapon it is for the game. The model is GK Librarian, after call.

I would just keep it as it is. And make a set of weapons to put on the base or similar IF the opponent is an arse about it.

:-)

Can we ask for pictures?

Nope, the fists it starts with are just Power Fists.

Don't believe me? It's all in the numbers.

They did used to be called that though. I guess they dropped the name and thus the ability to get force standard to justify some of the points decrease between the new and old dex.

Yeah, the 5E GK codex had "Nemesis Doomfists" on the dreadknights instead of powerfists, but this made the hammer on the DK absolutely worthless (since you basically traded +1A for "concussive", IIRC). I assume this is why it was changed.
