Do other people name their imperial knights? I have names for them mostly based off some of my friends characters from different games like D&D and world of darkness or their online usernames.

Right now I have 2 knights:
Victrous Solari named after a friends Paladin character
Lorem the mad named after a friends common character name

If/when I get a crusader I would name it after another friend who's character really likes guns
Proteus the black

I have a Warhound I am still deciding on a name for.

My knight's name is A Warlord due to something LeCacty said on my blog.

My friend has a super heavy named "just desserts".

His reasoning? It shoots PIE plates.

I don't have any super heavies yet, but when I get a Baneblade I'm going to name it "Vengeance" and bring it against the friend of mine who used to always bring super heavies to his games against me when I first started.

My Shadowsword is named 'Vanguards Might'

I am planning on a Baneblade, although the name has not been decided yet.

Due to the fact that every apocalypse game i play, everyone brings Shadowswords, and i bring a Falchion

Baneblade named "Matilda".
From the Germanic name Mahthildis meaning "strength in battle".
It just seemed right, very much a "she" and spiteful as all heck.

I affectionately refer to my Thanatar as "Mr. Stompy". Haven't named any of my actual superheavies, yet, though.

I like it more if they earn their name, by getting nick names from my opponents.

He's technically not a super heavy, but I named my Trygon Mr. Snuggles.

The red Knight paladin "The Blood Oath" piloted by freeblade Heathcliff Rampart. Bonus points to all who detect the reference, excluding the last name, which was added on in a narrative campaign.

The green upper body/white legged all-the-guns style knight crusader named "Force of Arms" piloted by a freeblade that claims to have no name. Another reference for bonus points.

My Blood Angels-aligned Reaver Titan named "Archangel."

And lastly I have a blue Knight Errant that I haven't been able to name it or the pilot.

Fething please, I name all my guys, their names are written in Ceramite White under the base or on the side/on scrolls for vehicles.

My 4 Knights are (in latin btw);

Paladin - 'Spes Solaris' or Solar Hope
Warden - 'Custos Aeternam' or Eternal Watchman
Errant - 'Tacita Pax' or Silent Peace
Paladin- 'Verum Imperial' or Imperial Truth.

My legion Fellblade is called 'Primaria target hostium' or 'primary target of the enemy'.

As a Rutgers Law Alum, when I get my knight he shall be known as THE SCARLET KNIGHT

I name pretty much all of my human models -- down to the last scout marine

Not so much the xenos models, though.

I painted one of my Knights Gold and named him Midas! He has a Golden Gauntlet ready to pimp slap.

I put two thick and heavy golden necklaces on another knight and named him 2 Chains.

Another one i a blinged out pocket watch and put it on his neck and called him Flavor Flav.

Another one I decorated with the gem stones and converted it to hold liquor like a chalice/goblet and Named him Lil'Jon.

My Imperial Knight is named, "The Gilded Light". Beyond him only my Libby and models who have achieved something great have names bestowed.

Eramus; the leader of a Interceptor squad, he has survived 3 Lascannons to the face in one game and killed the Devastator Squad who dared to aim at him, he remains the leader in vehicle kills.

Valenti; a Knight of Flame who has won countless victories while being outnumbered.

My Minotaur artillery tank has been granted the title "Godslayer" after inflicting the fatal blow on a Tau Manta and inflicting unspeakable slaughter upon the foul xenos inside.

My Hellhammer is named "Purifier". It cleanses cities of the unfaithful and the foul.

My Warhound Titan is named Mercia's Legacy(after a living saint I made up for my own personal fluff)

My Imperial Knight is named Jaegar, because I am slowly building an Attack on Titan themed Knight army.

As for the topic, the Knight leading my Freeblade Army is the 'Red Baron', who is leading the Green (Gerantius), Black (Obsidian) Knight, and the White (Warden) Knight.

Haven't decided what colour the last knight will be...

Basically, although I am considering converting up a squad of Grey Knight Interceptors with their teleporter packs rejiggered to look like 3-d maneuver gear. And armed with Falchions of course.

I named and colored my 6 imperial knights and warhound after the seven deadly sins. With "Pride" being the Warhound. Going to get a greater brass scorpion soon, still thinking of a name for him.
