I really like the fat mat style of mat. The problem is that all the urban themed ones have roads clearly defined, so it limits where you can set up buildings realistically, unlike say the operation icestorm box set that has a generic undefined placement of things with no clear cut roads.

Have you seen any that you can set buildings down in a random placement that look good?

warhammer 40k mmo. If I can drive an ork trukk into the back of a space marine dread and explode in a fireball of epic, I can die happy!

I'm a big fan of the Micro Arts mat, although that does have roads on it, it has definitely been designed with Infinity in mind and I always seem to get a good setup whenever I play on it.

Actually, looking now MAS also do an Icestorm Mat and Warehouse one which might be what you are after

Gamermat.eu do a similar looking one although I haven't seen one in the flesh so can't attest to its quality

Microart is basically the same material as FATmats.

Great stuff, shame they use awful bags for them, I'm glad Gamemat now use the same type of bag as FAT.

Just on the Icestorm mat - MAS do a 4x4 of the same design (exact same, CB let them use it) in their material.

Honestly, I want to see MAS do 6x4's of their mats.

MAS mats are great, i have the Icestorm one and it's very good. I also have been tempted to buy the Gamemat.eu one for a while now. A few more:

Haxagon Mill makes a couple of sci-fi industrial styled mats in neoprene mousepad material

Deep Cut Studio makes a few mats available in different materials including neoprene mouspad material. I'm waiting for their Space Hulk style to become available in mousepad material, it looks awesome
