Hello.

A few years ago I was at a big hobby shop in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. In their front window, there were several display cases of popular mini games. One of the cases was NOT Games Workshop - and at the time I was not familiar with any other Fantasy systems (sci-fi ones I knew a bit), so I didn't recognize any of the models.

I was blown away by this REALLY cool, very large kit, and I didn't ask back then because I was pressed for time and had to leave quickly after buying my stuff. I've thought about it quite a lot since then, and today when I received a bunch of gifts from friends/family for my birthday, I decided I want that model because it fits the style well.

I tried calling today, but the clerk had no idea what I was talking about, and said stuff comes and goes in those displays all the time, and tbh he didn't seem to know much about miniature gaming in the first place (kept misusing terms and mixing army names from systems, etc)

Description - forgive me, it's been years and I only inspected it for a few brief minutes.

- Appeared to be some sort of observatory or space-themed 'center'. A large round center, with a ringed platform SURROUNDING this shape in the middle.
- Atop this ringed platform surrounding the round shape, there seemed to be mages or robed figures with their arms stretched out conjuring or perhaps summoning something.
- This is the most hazy part for me, but I believe it was all mounted on a stylized spidery steampunk-looking set of supports.

The only reason why I figured it was Fantasy is because of the wizards involved, but the steampunk/stylized tech MIGHT put it in the realm of science fiction as well - 40K has quite a lot of robed models after all. It's possible it was a kitbash, but I hope not . . .

Please help, cookies for anyone who nails it!!

I was thinking the Circle Orboros one.

Wow!

I want to say that's it, but something seems off about it . . . it doesn't match what I looked at all those years ago. Almost like that's a smaller version of it.

Though it matches my description almost exactly, I remember the ringed platform being much further out from the center mass, and having many of those engineers instead of just two.

Thanks a lot though, that's also really gorgeous and will fit my idea nicely.

Here's some cookies anyway:

It might just be the picture. The base it's on is the same size as a music CD, so it's quite a large model. The ring around it is also bigger than it looks in that pic. Here's another one from a different angle...

Awesome second find there, sorry I made my post above before seeing that second one.

Okay the Circle models are definitely what were used, on what I think was the Cygnar engine. I think they were bashed, but yeah I'm thinking they were definitely of WMH origin.

You guys are the best, thanks a ton!
