WIP Leviathan Dreadnought. Will have various magnetised arm weapons. Much chipping and lots of edge highlights (WAMP brushes kick ass, btw). Think I may have under-quoted.

I could probably have had a bit more contrast on the airbrush work. It's there, and it registers and does its job in exaggerating shape, but it's very subtle, more so now the edges are on as they really catch the eye.

Absolutely beautiful work already. That blue is just sublime.

Looks great! I think it's nice having the underlying blends kept subtle, there's no risk of boring surfaces because of all the attention in the weathering and freehand

Unless the client wanted that sort of thing, couldn't disagree more. Too often painters assault your eyes with the airbrush "effect" on vehicles, a nice subtle job to accentuate the illusion of light is exactly how it should be used IMO.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Oh yeah, I agree with that; and in general 'less is more' is a rule that's worth sticking to. In more directed light however (and not in a well-lit photo environment) the effect is lost a little; could have done with being just a touch stronger in this case; and in a few places I've had to strengthen the effect by hand.
