Hi all, just played a couple of games of kill team and I need a few rules clearing up please.

1) If a unit is down as a unit on a roster, does it act as a unit in the game or individuals?

2) If a model is assaulted can models closer to it then support it.. or do they just stand and watch?

3) If a model shoots and kills another model, can it then charge another unit in the assault phase?

4) In the last stand mission, when does the defender roll for reserves?

Thanks for the help in advance!!

I assume you are using the killteam rules here: http://heralds-of-ruin.blogspot.co.uk/p/kill-team-rules.html?m=1

If so:

1 - a unit with squad rules acts as a squad as per 40k rules; there are extra rules clarifications in the "special rules" section under "squad".

2 - units within 3" can fire overwatch and countercharge.

3 - assaults can be redirecred by passing a leadership check if he wants to target anything within 3" of his shooting attack.

4 - don't have the missions downloaded

Thanks for the response! Does this mean if an imperial guard squad is used a commissar can join the unit as in a normal 40k game?

If the commissar is an IC in the kill team list, he should be able to, yes.

I base this on the rules for team leaders who are classed as characters and use the full rules for being so (plus extra kill team rules).

No Independent Characters in HoR ruleset, so the best you can do is sticking him within 3" of a squad and Look Out Sir! its wounds.
