I read today's post. It's actually a big improvement over what we got previously. Kudos to GW if they keep this up.

Yeah I used to love the old "We let Jervis out of the cage to write this article" type of stuff from Fat Bloke and co.

The levity and emotion in the post for today was quite unexpected. Certainly a better way to market their items a lot more than stating boring "facts", 2 green thumbs up.

Warlord Games carries that humour on in their books and website, being a lot of the same people.

And indeed, do they not have none other than Fat Bloke himself at the helm (or at least in some prominent position)?

I'm glad that they're lightening the tone up a bit. It's nice to read a blog post that sounds like it was written by a person instead of a machine. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the post the other day about building an iron priest on a thunderwolf. I hope they intend to give more hobby tips and such on the site like they used to.

He and John Stallard are the two main owners, I believe.

'Murica! (again)

They are having fun with it again, which is nice. I can't wait to see how the promotion, WD, social media, events, etc. shapes up around the release of Blood Bowl

IMO that humor always made GW more fun. They did dial it back down to about a level of a Southwest Airlines flight attendant for a decade or so but now it's back up.

Well, it seems like GW is really trying to get back to where they used to be. And good on them. I know with a lot of my gaming buddies it is too little too late, but this is good to hear that they have rediscovered humour.

Yes, yes. Bad, evil GW pricing. Moving on...

A nice step in the right direction, likely a result of a panic button being pushed as well.

And still far from being a long, even mid-term solution to their hideous pricing strategy, which only seems to be getting worse recently (Wulfen lol).

Progress is like a herd of pigs: everybody is interested in the produced benefits, but nobody wants to deal with all the resulting gak.

GW customers deserve every bit of outrageous princing they get.

Wait, is that from GW mail order?

I remember when everything sold direct involved the 'mail order trolls'... and when they stopped that because it was 'childish' and 'unprofessional'.

I'm sooo, sooo sorry.

Makes sense that when they get rid of the guy whose favorite pastime was reading Jane Austen novels, that the company would start being enjoyable again.

Yep!

I have to say myself, I'm the most enthusiastic I've been about GW in many years, probably ever since I bought the limited edition 6th 40k rule book and then found it invalidated in two years!
