NOTE: There is a general lack of seriousness to this. It's srs bizniss.

Today I shall outline a new ruleset for creating new Chaos Marine units for the TT.

Step 1: Identify loyalist war machine!

This is a very important step. As you all know, KAYOSS is too crazy to make new stuff, so they have too loot it. They've run out of their Horus Heresy stock, so they're going modern.
The unit we'll be taking today is the famous Rhino variant, the Razorback.
Rhinos? Rhiinoos. Owah plans hide in methul bawkses.


Step 2: Add some points

About 15 should do it. You see, KAYOSS is a full army already, so adding this to them would make them overpowered, if we don't beef it up a little.


Step 3: Add some pointy bitz.

After a quick trip in the warp, the KAYOSS marines have modified it with their latest technology. Pointy sticks.
Dem spike boyz no how ta look reel gud.


Step 4: We kaptoored eet foar kayoss!

In this crucial step, you must make a quick sacrifice to the dark gods, and buy the new space marine unit that GW has released to counter the unit you are currently making.
That'll be £50, and 10% of your remaining will to live.
This does nothing for your unit, except help it become more balanced.


Step 5: 10,000 years of Alzheimer's.

Your KAYOSS marines have forgotten how technology works. If your unit had any special rules that are not already present in the CSM rulebook, remove them.
Add Daemonic possession.


Congratulations, you have successfully made a CSM unit!

I'd propose adding frag grenades to Warp Talons, but so they aren't too overpowered, increase cost by 20 ppm.

Sounds reasonable. Grenades are rare in the warp.

You know how daemons are evil? Every time a daemon prince is within 6" of an allied unit, the closest model of that unit should be eaten.

It's just not fair for CSM to have MC's as HQ choices.

Let me be the first to make this srs with an idea that I've had. Bloodraptors. They are Khorne Berzerkers. With jump packs. 115 pts (10 pts more than KBs, as regular Raptors are only 10 pts more than standard CSM) and let the blood flow!

special rules:
Gore Volley: if Gorehail havoc launchers inflict any casualties, every unit being hit by that attack must immediately take Pinning test. Units that passed the test (or are immune to Pinning) are covered with gore, friendly units can re-roll charge range rolls against them until end of the turn.

Sounds cool, but MoK Raptors are basically jumpzerkers without Furious Charge. Not sure that's worth 10 ppm, but it would be a neat idea. Same reason regular Berzerkers are kinda bad, they're basically Mok CSM with Furious Charge.

Edit: Actually, they'd be Fearless, too, and Raptors are pretty much the only unit my KDK ever requires leadership checks for...

Bile Thrower- Range: Torrent S 1 AP 5, Poison 3+

Bile Thrower, Hand-Range Template S 1 AP 5, Poison 4+


Plague Cannon- range 36" S 5 AP 4, Heavy 3, Contagion
Contagion-When a weapon with this special rule causes a wound that causes a model to be removed as a casualty, place a Large Blast Template over where that model was. All models (friend or foe) under the template take a Poison (4+) AP- hit. Models with the Mark of Nurgle or Daemon of Nurgle rules are immune to this effect.

Cult Terminators. They existed for a short time back in 3rd edition and gave a great option to the standard cult troop.

If memory serves me correct.

Berzerker termis had +1 S
Nurgle termis had +1 T
Noise marine termis had +1A and could get sonic weapons
Thousand sons had 2 wounds, slow and purposeful,and all is dust. So only str 5 or higher shooting would affect them.

So some slight tweaking with new rules.

'Zerkers would be +1 attack and furious charge, rage, counter attack.

Nurgle would be +1 T and FnP

Noise marine would be +1 I and be able to get sonic weapons.

Thousand sons would be The aspiring champ would be a sorc and have access to inferno bolts, the rest would be rubric and not able to change their wargear but they all get +1 on their invul and slow and purposeful.

Might make chaos termis plausible again.

Chaos command rhino - 100 pts
Vehicle (Tank), 1 Chaos command rhino, 0-1, HQ, may not be compulsory HQ
BS4 AV11/11/10 HP3
Wargear: Combi-bolter

Warp beacon: at the start of his turn, Chaos player can choose one of his units within
12" of the Chaos command rhino to channel Warp energy through it - that unit has Preferred enemy rule.
However, enemy units also have Preferred enemy rule against that unit.
Lasts until start of Chaos next turn, after that unit takes D6 randomly allocated wounds with no saves
of any kind, or D3 haywire hits with no saves of any kind instead if it is a vehicle.

Special rules:
Warpblaze aura: all Chaos units within 12" of the Chaos command rhino have Gets Hot! and Soulblaze special rules
added to their shooting attacks.
