Hello,

I'm starting this blog because I still have quite alot of Lamenters (and possibly other Badab war allies) to paint.
I always liked the Badab war fluff and most of the chapters involved, and decided to make a Lamenter army because I really liked the color scheme and their fluff.
I'm hoping this blog can help me remain motivated to paint the Lamenters next to quite a few other projects.

I'll start by posting pictures of what I have currently painted up.
I'm in the process of painting 4 librarians and a sanguinary priest (they have to be done by april 16th for a tournament).

Time to give this blog a small picture boost again. Now that warseer seems down for good, I want to put my main hobby focus on this forum.

I've painted quite alot of lamenters since last I posted, picture qualitity isn't great but it' will have to do.

I will try to take some (better) pictures of additional models I've finished by tomorrow, I have a new camera so the new models should be on better pictures!

EDIT: Holes in the dreadnought melta have been drilled out.

I prefer Lamenters in a less dusty and more saturated yellow, but good job on painting one of the toughest colors out there, and then throwing checks all over it. That's quite an undertaking, and your Marines are looking good!

Heya! These guys are looking good - I like the more dusty-looking yellow you've gone with for them. And man, mad respect for painting all those checkers! I think I would've lost my mind halfway through the first drop pod.

Also hi from another previous Warseer-poster! I got some good feedback on my WIP blog from some of the guys there, I hope they find their way here eventually too!

Also, if you're an airbrush guy, Fallout Hobbies makes a vinyl stencil for checkers you might want:

@CB: Thanks!

@ Brother SRM: Took a while for me to decide on the kind of yellow. I ended up going for this look because I didn't want them to look like Imperial Fists with checkers.
Thanks for the link, looks like it could save me quite some modelling time!

@Skits: Thanks! I have to admit the checkers (especially on the drop pods) have brought me close to losing my mind numerous times!

Here are my sanguinary guard which I forgot to add in the last post.
